Propose a Class

Thank you for being such an important part of what makes Friendly City Clay & Art Center unique! We couldn’t do it without you, and we are so grateful for your contribution to our creative and collaborative community. 

Returning Teachers

  1. You’ve already filled out the New Teacher form at this point, but please always let us know if there are any changes that you’d like to make to your bio or other information that would help our students understand more about you and your artistic profile. 

  2. Are you proposing a class you have taught at FCCAC already? 

    1. I have taught the class at FCCAC already: No need to fill out a new proposal. Simply email laurapaige@friendlycityclay.com with the class you want to teach, the new dates, and any other changes you want to make. Check your Teacher Folder (LP will have sent this to you via email) for info on your previous classes.

    2. This is a new class: You’ll need to fill out a proposal using our Propose a Class form. Here are some things to keep in mind as you work through the proposal form: 

      1. Please be sure to send photos to laurapaige@friendlycityclay.com as part of your proposal!

      2. Remember to make use of existing resources like our Teaching Artist Pricing Worksheet! 

      3. We start our class planning early, to give students more time to consider classes, and to give us time to get them listed and marketed. Here’s an approximate idea of when we look for proposals for adult classes. 

        1. Winter (classes starting Jan-Mar): Proposals due October 16th, 2024

        2. Spring (classes starting Apr-May): Proposals due February 9th, 2025

        3. Summer (classes starting June-August): Proposals due April 6th, 2025

        4. Fall (classes starting Sept-Dec): Proposals due July 20, 2025
