Teen Wheel Throwing with LP Keller
Overview
Sunday, April 13th, 1-3:30pm (1 session)
Ages 12-18 are welcome
Cost: $50 + $5 materials (all materials are included)
Beginners and returners welcome!
Enjoy an afternoon of playing with clay! In this class you will learn to throw on the wheel with your peers. No experience needed!
This is a great way to try throwing clay on the pottery wheel and a chance to do something fun and a little messy.
Each participant will choose one piece to keep from the workshop, which will be glazed and fired and ready for pick up in several weeks.
About the Instructor:
LP Keller fell in love with the Friendly City when she studied art at JMU. In 2016, she earned a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Ceramics. She is a certified art teacher in Virginia and used to teach in Harrisonburg City Public Schools. She loves exploring art with her students and seeing how her students express themselves through art. She is a mother, a baker, a ceramicist, an art teacher, and the woman behind LPMpottery.
Class Cancellations and Absence
Refunds minus a $20 processing fee are offered until 14 days before the start of class. After that, we do not offer refunds. We don’t offer refunds for missed classes, so please be sure you can attend all sessions of a class, or that you are okay with missing any that you’ll be away for.
